Humanidad Therapy is now offering a new service:
Immigration Evaluation Service
Our team member, Noemi Degante Blancas is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT 149946) and certified as an immigration diagnostic evaluator.
An immigration diagnostic evaluator completes a psychological assessment for undocumented immigrants seeking to adjust their immigration status. A thorough diagnostic evaluation report is done for individuals petitioning to USCIS for Asylum, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), U-Visa (for immigrants who have been victim or witness to a crime in the U.S.), T-Visa (involve refugees that have been victims of human trafficking in the U.S), Cancellation of Removal and to prove Extreme Hardship.
The individual will participate in six sessions that will explore mental health, trauma history, and current challenges. A detailed report is created for that specific case and shared with the client and attorney. We provide expert evaluation with care, cultural understanding, and a trauma informed approach. This service is offered to ALL regardless of language. The fee will be based on a sliding scale that ranges from $800 to $1800.
